Auction House to premiere at Indian Film Festival LA

WorldView-funded film The Auction House will premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles.

The film, directed by Ed Owles, centres on the oldest auction house in India that is fighting for survival in the age of eBay and a changing Calcutta. This film follows its owners, brothers Anwer and Arshad, as they struggle to save their family business and a piece of India’s heritage which still brings people from across Indian society through its doors today.

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture by showcasing films, supporting emerging filmmakers, recognizing the leadership of entertainment industry performers and business executives, and promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian diaspora.
