Guns and Balls in Kirkuk

Produced by Marie Olesen, Directed by Doug Aubrey

About

Minefield is a film about war, friendship and the power of football as both a way of life and as a way of saving lives. Adopting the format of a buddy/road movie, Minefield centres on the adventures of humanitarian football coach Scotty Lee and filmmaker Doug Aubrey. In the course of the film their idealism and world view is explored and as the dialogue unfolds between two central protagonists, we also discover what motivates this pair of self-confessed adrenaline junkies.
