War Child screens in Cambridge

Amal_WarChildWorldView-supported War Child will screen at the Human Rights Film Festival in Cambridge.

The festival takes place on 21 and 22 June, in partnership with the ArtsPicturehouse. The screening will take place at  3pm on 21 June, followed by a Q&A with multi award-winning director Jezza Neumann.

War Child has been described as a “shocking and compelling” documentary portrait of Palestinian children living amidst armed conflict. In January 2009, more than 1,300 Palestinians were killed in Gaza. In the wake of this horror, we meet a handful of children, surrounded by rubble and increasingly isolated by the blockade, whose lives have been irreversibly damaged by war. This is a haunting documentary portrait of children living amid armed conflict.
