Sheffield Doc/Fest is now accepting film and interactive project submissions from UK and international filmmakers for consideration for next year’s festival, which runs from 7 to 12 June 2014.
The festival welcomes submissions of short, medium and feature length films from student, debut and established directors. For filmmakers and producers Doc/Fest is the best way of getting their doc noticed by UK and international industry professionals. In recent years Doc/Fest has also played a vital role launching major docs, such as the WorldView-funded 5 Broken Cameras to the European market.
Submissions of interactive and artist-based works are also invited for consideration for Interactive at Sheffield, which this year included Alma, a Tale of Violence, another WorldView-supported project .
Director of Programming, Hussain Currimbhoy said: “Submissions are the life-blood of the programme… So many titles launched at Sheffield go on to countless other festivals, secure distribution and broadcast deals, which is hugely satisfying.”
WorldView has a longstanding partnership with the festival.
Submissions close 24 January, 2014. Find out more and submit your film
