One World Media awardsWe’re delighted that four WorldView-supported films have been nominated for the 2015 One World Media awards.

Miners Shot Down and Virunga have both received a nomination for the Documentary Award, with Virunga also being nominated for the Corruption Reporting Award. Casablanca Calling has been nominated for the Women’s Rights in Africa Award, whilst our digital project The Shirt on your Back made in partnership with the Guardian has received a nomination for the Digital Media Award.

One World Media said ‘the 2015 Awards received a record number of submissions, with a diverse range of stories from around the world. This year’s entries highlight the brilliant work being done by journalists and filmmakers in uncovering unreported stories and drawing attention to issues of global importance. Thanks to all who entered this year!’
