WorldView New Genres award at CineMart

Cinemart-logoWe are pleased to announce a new WorldView award with CineMart; the WorldView New Genres Fund Development Award granted to the best CineMart project.

Next to the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award (€30,000 for a European co-production) and the Arte France Cinema Award (€7,000), IFFR’s coproduction market CineMart adds a third prize to its roster: the WorldView New Genres Fund Development Award (€5,000).

The jury members for this award in 2013 are Olivier Père (Head of Cinema) of ARTE France Cinéma and Annamaria Lodato (Head of Communications) of ARTE France; Petri Kemppinen (Board member) of Eurimages – Conseil de l’Europe; and Himesh Kar (Consultant) and Amy Richardson (Project Coordinator) of WorldView.

The winners of this brand new award will be announced during the co-production market’s Closing Night Party on Wednesday 30 January.

CineMart
The first co-production market of its kind, CineMart offers filmmakers the opportunity to launch their ideas to the international film industry and to find the right connections to get their projects financed. Launching about 35 new projects in need of additional financing each year, CineMart also heralds an important start of the ‘film year’.

The 30th edition of CineMart will take place at the IFFR from 27 January to 30 January 2013.
