Your WorldView hosts open pitch at Sheffield

598394_10150834823402364_1747522400_n WorldView’s sister project Your WorldView is looking to support five short films from the wider world at an Open Pitch at Sheffield Doc Fest 20 on the theme of ‘Home

A £5,000 funding grant will be split between the winning pitches and each of the five filmakers will have their short profiled on the Your WorldView website as part of their ‘Home’ season. The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony on the final day of Doc/Fest, 16 June.

The pitches are public and will take place on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 June from 1-5pm at the WorldView stand in The Eye in HUBS outside MeetMarket and is open to anyone with a Full Festival Pass. All pitches must be a short film lasting 3-5 minutes on the theme of ‘Home’. Documentary directors Jezza Neumann, Orlando Von Einsiedel and Jesse Quinones will be on the judging panel to offer help and support during an informal Q&A after each individual pitch.
